Project for Eco-innovative system

"Innovation Norway" provides "BALBOK ENGINEERING" AD a financial support IN THE FRAME OF PROGRAMME AREA BG 10 – GREEN INDUSTRY INNOVATION

"BalBok Engineering" AD started the project "Eco-innovative system for management of waste with unknown composition and origin in Bulgaria"/ Programme Area BG 10 – Green Industry Innovation in Bulgaria with the financial support of Innovation Norway up to the amount of 370000 euros.

On 16 June 2015 Innovation Norway, a programme operator approved "BalBok Engineering" AD project proposal of 26 February 2015. The proposal was developed and presented for a Third invitation of the Programme "Green Industry Innovation" in Bulgaria.

The project is to be completed within 10 months and the expected outputs are:

  • Central Chemical Laboratory in Stara Zagora, equipped for qualitative and quantitative analysis of waste samples;
  • Mobile laboratory equipped for sampling and on-site analysis;
  • Manual for waste identification;
  • Information system

"The expected result of the financial support from the Government of Norway through Innovation Norway is developing a new service for waste management and destruction/recycling of waste with unknown composition and origin in the country, which will consolidate and strengthen our market position and competitiveness."

The project is released together with Norwegian partner - Mepex Consult AS, a company with over 20 years of experience in the field of environmental protection and waste management.

 

Project "Eco-innovative system for management of waste with unknown composition and origin in Bulgaria" is supported by a grant from Norway through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014, in the frame of Programme Area BG 10 – Green Industry Innovation.

Programme Operator is the state agency "Innovation Norway" to the Norwegian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Fisheries.
