Seminar on "Management of waste with unknown composition and origin in Bulgaria"

The seminar was held on 6 April 2016 from 15 to 18 hours in "Rila" hall at Inter Expo Center - Sofia, bul. "Tsarigradsko Shosse" № 147

Among the participants were representatives of industrial enterprises - customers and partners of BalBok Engineering, Regional Inspectorate – Sofia, EMEPA, NEK EAD, Toplofikacia - Sofia, First English Language School, - "G.S. Rakovski" National Defense Academy, TLL Media, BNR.

The seminar was opened by Dr. Ralitsa Anguelova, manager of the Project. Welcome words to the participants made Venceslava Yanchovska, manager of the office of Norwegian state agency "Innovation Norway" in Bulgaria.

The main topics of the presentations were:

Law on Waste Management - basic provisions, obligations to holders of industrial and hazardous waste, lecturer Eng. Siyka Terzieva

Identification of waste - Project 2015/104949 "Eco-innovative system for management of waste with unknown composition and origin in Bulgaria", lecturer Dr. Ralitza Anguelova

Planning of waste management activities in enterprises. Terms and conditions for waste classification. Preliminary storage of industrial and hazardous waste. Requirements and current provisions lecturer Eng. Petar Petrov

Preparation for the transfer of hazardous waste. Providing safe transport - choice of packaging, palletizing and handling of cargo, labeling, load requirements for vehicle, lecturer Maya Stankeva

 

The seminar was a great success, with the active involvement and interest from attendees. The participants will receive certificates.

 

Project "Eco-innovative system for management of waste with unknown composition and origin in Bulgaria" is supported by a grant from Norway through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014, in the frame of Programme Area BG 10 – Green Industry Innovation.
